Bastard Jazz and Names You Can Trust once again team up to bring you the second installment of the Beverley Road All Stars. This time around the crew strolls into the dancehall for inspiration, covering two massive hits from the early 90s. Floated by the stylings of guest guitarist Brian Lazarus from Brooklyn's Cumbiagra, producers DJ DRM & E's E expand on the originals to create a concoction of African, Middle Eastern and Caribbean melodies. The final analysis remains two hard hitting tracks with rattling percussion and tight grooves, but sure to flip the script on your previous notion of these classic riddims.

Why do you love this album? Well, it is the quality of ALL the Analog Africa releases , the astonishing presentation- artwork, AWESOME booklets, the mastering, the music first of all and the feeling you connect with it and the artists involved. Due to not earning enough I changed from vinyl to CDs, but I am glad for the high quality downloads of the vinyl only releases that you are able to burn to disc. Together with a chosen few others AA is a greater than great label. Period. Markus Bader
